For our specialized department of old-age psychiatry, we are looking for a senior physician (80–100%) by appointment.
In this responsible position, you have the opportunity to actively shape the psychiatric care of older people, to further develop innovative treatment concepts and to lead a multi-professional team.
Their tasks
- Senior medical director of an elderly psychiatric bed ward with a focus on dementia/delir diseases and related neuropsychiatric disorders
- Close interdisciplinary cooperation with the Centre for Age Medicine
- Training and supervision of assistant doctors and psychologists
- Engagement in further education internally and externally
- Participation in consultancy and liaison services within the hospital
- Collaboration and networking with referees and institutions Your profile
- Completed or advanced training as a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy
- Emphasis on age psychiatry and psychotherapy beneficial
- Very good knowledge of German in word and writing (from level C1)
- Independent, dedicated, flexible and team-oriented personality with humor
- Enjoyment of interprofessional and interdisciplinary cooperation as well as the co-creation and further development of the treatment and therapy offer
- Engaged cooperation in the psychiatric-psychotherapeutic team with openness to different therapeutic directions
