- In this role, you will apply measurement science to real-world industrial and laboratory situations in a GMP manufacturing environment, designing, developing, and evaluating measurement systems and procedures to facilitate the calibration of a wide variety of instruments. The Opportunity
- You have a proven knowledge of computerized calibration management systems (CCMS), spreadsheets, database applications, and quality management systems within an FDA-regulated industry.
- You will utilize advanced technical writing skills and meticulous attention to detail to manage multiple calibration tasks and meet critical deadlines.
- You will directly influence operations by dictating calibration and metrological policy through scientific, mathematical, or regulatory means.
- You will safely execute tasks that may require traveling approximately 5% of the time and wearing personal protective equipment in laboratory or manufacturing environments. Preferred Qualifications
- You have a BS in Analytical Chemistry, Engineering, Math, or Physics.
- You have an ISA Certified Control Systems Technician or ASQ Certified Calibration Technician designation.
- You have 7 years of hands-on experience providing metrological and calibration support related to analytical laboratory equipment (e.g., pipettes, balances, pH meters, conductivity instruments, HPLCs, spectrophotometers) and process instrumentation (e.g., temperature, pressure, and flow).
