Full description

We believe that data is something like the heartbeat of CSS – today more than ever. Data-driven decisions require a stable, reliable and powerful database. As part of the Agile Release Train (ART) Data & Analytics, our DWH team is responsible for CSS’s business-critical data warehouse. Central data streams converge here, which are used daily by numerous specialist areas. In our Release Train, we ensure the reliable operation of the existing Teradata solution and at the same time drive the transformation towards a modern cloud data platform. With us, you can expect responsible tasks with great impact in a SAFe environment, an experienced team and a professional IT organization. When do we meet? This is what your everyday life looks like

  • At the heart of it: You take on the professional responsibility for our Teradata Data Warehouse and together with the team ensure its stability, quality and maintenance.
  • You work closely with specialist departments, architects, engineers and other stakeholders, prioritize requirements and support the product manager in defining the roadmap.
  • Thanks to your expertise, you can record the relationships across the entire value chain and assess requirements from source to use in business in a well-founded manner.
  • You bring your technical expertise to bear on complex issues around data integration and data quality and support the team operationally if necessary.
  • There is no standstill with us: Today you are responsible for our central DWH as a product – in the future, a PO role awaits you on our modern cloud data platform.
  • You are part of an Agile Release Train that works according to the Lean Agile Mindset of SAFe and lives a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. You bring that with you
  • First things first: You have several years of experience as a product owner in the DWH or data environment and have managed, developed and successfully supported data warehouse solutions with end-to-end responsibility as a product – ideally in an agile environment.
  • You have a degree (Uni/FH) in computer science, business informatics or a comparable education with a sound understanding of centralized data warehouse architectures and data platforms.
  • You understand both the technical and the (financial) perspective of data products and can successfully bring different stakeholders together.
  • Very good knowledge of classic data warehouse technologies belong to your profile
  • Teradata experience and a background as a data engineer with a strong technical understanding are a plus.
  • You appreciate the responsibility for business-critical systems and enjoy operating and maintaining a data warehouse sustainably and reliably. You work in a structured, networked way and communicate with technical and professional contacts.
  • The icing on the cake of the i: Knowledge in Azure, Databricks or modern cloud data platforms helps you to actively shape our transformation, but is not required.
  • Work Flexible: Adapt your work to your lifestyle annually with part-time options and other flexible models like home office and more.
  • Choose your holiday model: 5 or 6 weeks holiday? Your decision. Accordingly, you work 41 or 42 hours a week.
  • Improve yourself further: We like to see it if you educate yourself internally or externally and support generously with time and money.
  • Celebrate with us: Focused work and celebrate. We love this combination and maintain it regularly.
  • Engage Socially: Does Life Mean Good to You? Then let others share your happiness and expand your horizons alone or in a team.
  • Enjoy your wallet: Benefits such as bonus, Reka, discounted health insurance premium and others that quickly make up a few thousands a year. Contact details Questions for your people lead?
