You can design it.

• You analyze, structure and link different data sources within and outside the CKW and thus create the basis for data-driven decisions.
• You develop and optimize models for automated error detection, data cleansing and substitute value creation for high data quality.
• Together with specialists, you will contribute to the development of tools and algorithms for data analysis and forecasting.
• You provide comprehensible and visual data analyses – including with Power BI – and support users with data-related issues.
• You build scalable data pipelines in Databricks and develop modern processes with GitHub as well as automated tests and deployments via CI/CD.
• You develop linear and non-linear optimization algorithms for flexibility products and actively participate in the “Decentralized Flexibility” value creation team.
• Together with the team, you will set up the Energy Services division as an energy-related data analysis and knowledge centre and at the same time support CKW in setting up its energy portfolio in a future-oriented manner.

This is what makes you

• You have an FH or university degree in a scientific or technical subject with a focus on quantitative methods.
• You have very good programming skills in Python and know best practices in software development and data engineering.
• You have experience with structured database systems, data modeling and modern data platforms such as Databricks or Azure Cloud.
• You know methods from data science, time series analysis and statistical forecasting methods and like to work data-driven.
• Ideally, you will bring experience in the energy environment, energy trading or flexpooling and know tools such as Power BI, PySpark or SQL.
• You enjoy working in a team, communicating in German and English and looking forward to developing solutions together.
