  • Basic technical training with business administration training (e.g. business economist HF, technical merchant / purchasing specialist with Federal Fa) or university degree in business administration, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field
  • Several years of experience in procurement in an international, technically shaped environment – ideally in electrical engineering, signal technology or the rail vehicle industry
  • Practice in interdisciplinary project management, ideally with appropriate certification
  • In-depth experience in dealing with complex, multi-level parts lists (BoM structures)
  • Demonstrable negotiation success combined with a strong analytical mindset and solution-oriented approach
  • Very good user knowledge in MS Office and SAP S/4HANA
  • Negotiation-proof German and English skills (minimum C1) in word and writing, other languages are advantageous
  • Proactive “hands-on” mentality with high personal responsibility, strong implementation and a clear focus on results TASKS
  • Overall responsibility for procurement activities in the project, including operational handling of all procurement processes from demand determination to timely delivery as well as budget compliance, project monitoring, controlling, audits and reporting
  • Independent implementation of tenders, comparisons and negotiations as well as proactive supplier management in the event of deviations
  • Independent tendering, negotiation and operational procurement of components
  • Responsibility for master data management including structured maintenance and ensuring data quality as the basis for stable and efficient processes
  • Interface management between purchasing, technology, production, logistics and project management to ensure efficient processes and a smooth material flow
  • Further development and optimization of procurement and interface processes with focus on increasing efficiency and transparency
  • Design and further development of procurement and interface processes to increase efficiency and cooperation
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in the procurement process
