Full description
The "Parents-femme-enfant" sector of the Jura Hospital, located on our site in Delémont, includes the maternity and paediatric services. The Maternity Unit, composed of 15 beds, is a warm and dynamic service that accompanies families during a key moment in their lives. It provides about 600 births per year and has a Gynecology and Obstetrics clinic. Our multidisciplinary team works with commitment to ensure quality reception and personalized care for patients and their newborns.
In order to strengthen our team, we are looking for
Responsibilities
- · Comprehensive monitoring of pregnant women from pregnancy to postnatal period.
- · To accompany and supervise physiological and medicalized deliveries in accordance with protocols.
- · Take responsibility for monitoring and supporting newborns and their families.
- · Work closely with gynaecologists, paediatricians and the multidisciplinary team.
- · Promote breastfeeding and support parenting.
- · Participate in continuous improvement of service practices and student training.
- · Provide day, night and weekend guards depending on the organization of the service.
Qualifications
- · Bachelor of Science of Sage-wife or equivalent.
- · Red Cross recognition for foreign degrees.
- · Experience in delivery room or maternity is an asset.
- · Ability to work as an interdisciplinary team and manage emergency situations.
- · Autonomy, rigour, flexibility and professional commitment.
- · Excellent relational skills and listening skills.
- · Motivation to invest in a stimulating and constantly changing environment.
