As Head of the billing centre, you manage all the outpatient billing activities of the Arc Network. You supervise a team of about 10 employees on several sites in the Grand Chasseral / Jura region of Bern. Through friendly and close management you guarantee an efficient organization. You are the reference person for all questions related to outpatient rates and accompany the various services of the Arc Network in achieving their objectives.

Your responsibilities

• Manager, support and develop the outpatient centre
• Organize and harmonize billing processes between different sites and participate actively in continuous improvement
• Ensuring quality, compliance and billing times
• Complex case supervision and billing coordination
• Develop quality controls and service performance indicators
• Be the preferred contact point for physicians, medical officials and management regarding outpatient billing
• Ensuring ongoing monitoring of tariff developments
• Pilot the implementation and evolution of tariff catalogues:
• TARDOC
• Outpatient packages
• Physiotherapy
• Occupational therapy
• Other ambulatory rates
• Actively participate in institutional projects related to tariff developments
• Guaranteeing medical fees

You are recognized as a true specialist in outpatient billing and want to put your expertise at the service of an institution in full transformation. Do you know the subtleties of outpatient medical billing and evolve easily in a constantly changing pricing environment? TARDOC, ambulatory packages and price catalogues are part of your professional world? We are interested in your profile! You have commercial training or equivalent training, ideally supplemented by higher education such as a federal patent, ES/HES diploma or relevant specialization. Thanks to several years of experience in outpatient medical billing, you have developed an excellent mastery of TARDOC and outpatient packages, as well as a very good knowledge of other tariff catalogues. You understand the various invoicing mechanisms related to sickness, accident, disability and military insurance and know how to understand the specificities of these. Team management is also part of your experience. You can unite, support and develop your collaborators through natural and constructive leadership, fostering collaboration, autonomy and skills development. With an excellent spirit of analysis and a strong sense of organisation, you know how to step back, manage priorities and deliver concrete solutions, including in complex situations.
