A true centre of first-recourse medicine, it brings together a multidisciplinary team of general practitioners, specialists, nurses, psychologists, therapists and caregivers. Each patient is accompanied by a referent physician, who guarantees a long-term personalized follow-up. The CMB is distinguished by its integrated approach, in close association with partner hospitals and other entities of the Arc Network. It offers a wide range of services: medical consultations, outpatient emergencies, specialist care, paediatric follow-up, mental health, physiotherapy, wound care, dental medicine, technical examinations (radiology, laboratory, etc.). Thanks to its Walk-in Clinic, the CMB also responds to urgent needs without an appointment, Monday to Saturday. It offers fast, seamless and coordinated access to care, reinforced by the expertise of the Swiss Medical Network, to which it has been linked since 2020. Its general medical practice VIVA completes this offer, to the insured of the VIVA health plan a personalized accompaniment, integrated within the very heart of the medical center. For the population of Biel, it is a privileged gateway to all the services of the network, while ensuring a coherent, simplified and sustainable medical follow-up. In order to respond to a growth demand, we are looking for a mixed position on the Biel site for the following profile: A/a general practitioner F and/or D Job description Mixed position between the general practice VIVA (longitudinal follow-up) and the Walk-in Clinic (acute care without appointment), this position offers you a wide variety of clinical situations in a multidisciplinary environment. By joining Biel's VIVA firm, you are integrating an integrated patient-centred care system that promotes coordinated pathways, active prevention and interdisciplinary collaboration on a daily basis.
• Conduct medical consultations to diagnose, treat and follow a wide variety of pathologies, while ensuring the general health of patients.
• Complete health checks, including clinical examinations, medical history and required prescriptions.
• Take into account the medical history of patients in providing appropriate advice and recommendations,
• Conduct regular patient monitoring, ensuring comprehensive, preventive and management of acute pathologies.
• Maintain up-to-date medical records, ensuring accurate traceability of consultations and treatments.
• Take preventive measures, including screening, vaccination and counselling on healthy lifestyles.
• Maintain medical knowledge and regularly train in order to provide a quality health service.
• Coordinate with other specialists if necessary, through multidisciplinary management. Qualifications
• Diploma of general practitioner or family recognized in Switzerland or eligible for equivalence.
• Registration or recognition MEBEKO in Switzerland or during the procedure.
• Experience in general medicine and management of various pathologies.
• Skills in managing preventive health and chronic diseases.
• Ability to work as a team and collaborate with other health professionals.
• Excellent communication skills and building trust with patients.
• Ideally, you are comfortable in French and German (see Swiss-German) any other language is an asset. Further information
