Your job is to evaluate and care for children, adolescents 0-18 years old and their families in an outpatient setting within CAP. CAP also works closely with UHPA (Psychiatric Hospitalization Unit for Adolescents) and with the emergency services of the Moutier Hospital, which can respond to the urgent outpatient request.

The missions are as follows

• Conduct independent child-psychiatric assessments and care of patients
• Supervision and supervision of assistant physician and assistant psychologist in training
• Demonstrate accompaniment capacity, complex case management in the field and decision-making and responsibilities of a 2nd line senior physician
• Replacement of the physician in charge of the site, CAP referral physician in terms of the tasks involved in the organisation of the site and the proper conduct of the care (pedopsychiatric evaluations, family interviews and networks)
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the medical-therapeutic team.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans if necessary
• Prescribing and managing psychiatric drugs
• Participate in the outpatient care continuity system.
• Intervention in case of crisis and provision of emergency child psychiatric care, where appropriate.
• Attend medico-therapeutic team meetings to discuss patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records.
• Participate in the development and implementation of child psychiatric protocols and procedures in the outpatient and hospital sector
• Collaborate with other health care providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• A doctor's degree or equivalent recognized by the Federal Medical Professions Commission (MEBEKO) is mandatory.
• An experience of at least 3 years of assistance, including at least 2 years in psychiatry and psychotherapy for children and adolescents, in addition to additional years in adult psychiatry or paediatrics is required
• A proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team is essential.
• A strong commitment to medical training and knowledge dissemination is required.
• Capacity for initiative, curiosity and interest in project implementation.
• Mastery of the French language at a minimum level B2 is necessary.

We are looking for a head of clinic with FMH or assistant head of clinic in the process of obtaining his or her specialist title to join our outpatient pedopsychiatry team within the CAP (Centre ambulatoire de Pédopsychiatrie) of the Réseau de l'Arc, Switzerland. In this full-time role, you will work with a medico-therapeutic team (pedopsychiatrists, psychologists, nurses) to provide high quality child psychiatric care to our patients. The Mental Health Department of the RCAF Network is an ISFM training institution (in recognition for category B) for hospital and outpatient activity.
