Responsibilities Social educators are responsible for accompanying young people in vulnerable situations in a specialized care facility, with emphasis on promoting their general well-being, autonomy and social integration. Their main responsibilities are:

• Actively engage in the day-to-day lives of young people and implement evidence-based educational and therapeutic programs in accordance with institutional standards. - Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective service delivery. - Supervise the implementation and facilitation of structured therapeutic activities, including psychodrama, escalation and circus-inspired interventions.
• To maintain professional relations with families and outside professionals in order to promote comprehensive care. - Establish and apply eligibility criteria for participation in programmes and systematically monitor the progress of participants. - Prepare comprehensive reports, maintain detailed individual records, and prepare clinical documentation in accordance with establishment protocols.
• Respect scrupulously all institutional procedures and professional standards governing the provision of care and support services. - Contribute to the strategic development and continuous improvement of unit operations and service delivery. - Conduct risk assessments and implement protective measures to ensure the safety and well-being of all school youth.
• Participate in crisis response and implement de-escalation techniques where necessary, maintaining a calm and caring attitude. - Engage in reflexive practice and clinical supervision to improve professional skills and service quality. - Contribute to the collection and analysis of results data to assess the effectiveness of the program and to guide service improvement.
• Social education diploma ES or HES.
• Experience in psychiatry (5 years) and/or child psychiatry (an asset).
• Interest in group therapeutic work.
• Ability to work in a demanding institutional setting.

• Relationship skills: listening, communication, collaboration.
• Personal skills: adaptation, ethics, sense of responsibility.
