In order to strengthen our team, we are looking for
- Our Psychological Life Unit (UVP) the Poleyo, located in Saignelégier, welcomes residents with cognitive, behavioural or psychiatric disorders related to aging.
- Our multidisciplinary team works with commitment, benevolence and professionalism to ensure that the care is tailored to the specific needs of each resident.
- · Ensure the hygiene, comfort and well-being of residents, respecting their individual rhythm and needs.
- · Support residents in the actions of daily life, promoting their autonomy.
- · SWC of Community Care and Health Assistant (CHS), ASA or equivalent.
- · Recognition of the Swiss Red Cross for foreign degrees.
Main responsibilities
- · Ensure the hygiene, comfort and well-being of residents, respecting their individual rhythm and needs.
- · Support residents in the actions of daily life, promoting their autonomy.
- · Adapt your accompaniment to cognitive and behavioural disorders related to aging (disorientation, anxiety, agitation).
- · Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and provide relevant observations on the condition of residents.
Key requirements
- · SWC of Community Care and Health Assistant (CHS), ASA or equivalent.
- · Recognition of the Swiss Red Cross for foreign degrees.
- · Experience with desired elderly people; A UVP experience would be an asset.
- · Empathy, patience, benevolence and sense of observation adapted to age-related behavioural disorders.
- · Ability to work on irregular schedules, weekends and public holidays included.
