Role overview
Your job is to evaluate and care for children, adolescents 0-18 years old and their families in an outpatient setting within CAP.
The CAP also works closely with UHPA (Psychiatric Hospital Unit for Adolescents) and with the emergency services of the Moutier Hospital, which can respond to the urgent outpatient request. The missions are as follows:
Conduct independent child-psychiatric assessments and care of patients
- Your job is to evaluate and care for children, adolescents 0-18 years old and their families in an outpatient setting within CAP.
- The CAP also works closely with UHPA (Psychiatric Hospital Unit for Adolescents) and with the emergency services of the Moutier Hospital, which can respond to the urgent outpatient request. The missions are as follows:
- Demonstrate support capacity, complex case management in the field and decision-making and responsibilities of a 2nd line senior physician
- Substitute of the physician responsible for the site, CAP reference doctor for the tasks involved in the organisation of the site and the proper conduct of the care (pedopsychiatric evaluations, family interviews and networks)

Main responsibilities
- Demonstrate support capacity, complex case management in the field and decision-making and responsibilities of a 2nd line senior physician
- Substitute of the physician responsible for the site, CAP reference doctor for the tasks involved in the organisation of the site and the proper conduct of the care (pedopsychiatric evaluations, family interviews and networks)
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the medical-therapeutic team.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans if necessary Prescribing and managing psychiatric drugs
- Participate in the outpatient care continuity system.
- Intervening in case of crisis and providing emergency child psychiatric care, where appropriate.
- Attend medico-therapeutic team meetings to discuss patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records.
- Participate in the development and implementation of child-psychiatric protocols and procedures in the outpatient and hospital sector
- Work with other health care providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.

- We are looking for a head of clinic with FMH or assistant head of clinic in the process of obtaining his or her specialist status to join our outpatient child psychiatry team in the CAP (Pedopsychiatry Outpatient Centre) of the Arc Network in Switzerland.
- In this full-time role, you will work with a medical-therapeutic team (pedopsychiatrists, psychologists, nurses) to provide high-quality child psychiatric care to our patients.
- The Mental Health Department of the RCAF Network is an ISFM training institution (in recognition for category B) for hospital and outpatient activity.
