Mission With more than 100 apprentices in training in a dozen professions, EPFL is a fully-fledged training company.
Regardless of the apprenticeship chosen at EPFL, apprentices carry out their vocational training in an extraordinary, multinational environment composed of research laboratories in fields as varied as engineering, the exact sciences and architecture.
With a view to strengthening the training of apprentices in physics, EPFL creates a school laboratory dedicated to this profession at the beginning of the 2027 school year.

- To facilitate and support the network of trainers in the workplace of apprentices working in physics; in particular:
- Participation in the procedure for selecting future apprentices in physics
- Monitoring of training plan, training objectives and examinations

- Promoting the training of laboratory staff in physics, both internally at EPFL and among schoolchildren and other stakeholders
- Training in electronics for apprentices in physics
- Prepare and teach theoretical and practical courses in analog and digital electronics,
- Participate in the teaching of inter-company courses in measurement techniques and methods
- Teaching Electronics to Bachelor students Grade 2 in Physics
- Theoretical (1 hour/week) and practical (2 hour/week)
- Structured in two semesters: basic electronics, analog and digital, signal processing, assembly, manipulation of measuring instruments, Arduino programming
- Participate in the production of montages for practical physics and/or audience experiences Profile
- Higher education (HES level) in electronics or electrical engineering, or mechatronics technician training
