The Operations business unit produces parts for all Hamilton companies, from injection moulded parts to pipette tips for liquid handling to metal and plastic parts. Our goal is to produce as many parts as possible in-house. In this way, we remain agile, independent and efficient.

- Responsible for the strategic orientation of the electronics product group in the industrial environment
- Develop and implement the product group strategy in line with the procurement and operations strategy
- Participation in development projects and coordination of procurement activities within strategic procurement
- Responsible for professional, global supplier management (evaluation, selection, assessment and development)
- Conduct targeted procurement market research and monitoring, as well as identifying new trends
- Creating and negotiating contracts, conducting price and conditions negotiations
- Ensuring material availability in the development phases in close cooperation with operational purchasers
- Compliance with processes, governance and compliance
You bring that with you
- Basic commercial or technical training with further commercial education completed
- Completed training in procurement or supply chain management
- Several years of experience in strategic purchasing in the industrial environment
- Reliable personality with entrepreneurial thinking
- Independent, structured and conscientious working methods
- Own initiative, negotiating skills and enforcement
- Open, communicative and integrity team player
- Negotiable in German and English, in word and writing (level C1)
