In the intensive care unit, you work in an interdisciplinary team that, together with the medical profession, bears the responsibility for patients who are life-threateningly ill or injured. You are in the middle of the action, making decisions with great scope and making a central contribution to the stabilization and recovery of people in the most critical moments of their lives.

These are your tasks

• You acquire a wide range of expertise in the individual care of patients in the intensive care unit
• You acquire technical and pathophysiological know-how and train a safe, targeted action
• You actively incorporate psychosocial, ethical and family-related aspects into your care
• You use technical aids and devices in a targeted, professional and situational manner to ensure optimal care

You bring that with you

• You have a diploma as a nursing specialist HF, FH or a foreign diploma recognized by the SRK
• You bring at least 6 months of experience in an acute department in a Swiss hospital
• You can also work in a focused team under high stress and set the right priorities in emergency situations
• You have a flair for technology and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation
