Introduction
For an internationally active company in mechanical and plant engineering for innovative packaging solutions, we are looking for a Service Engineer (m/f/d) for worldwide use. The focus of the position is on the technical commissioning, maintenance and support of high-tech plants as well as close cooperation with customers in Germany and abroad. The company is part of a global group of companies and stands for high-quality machines, precise production and a high technical standard. In this function, you work at the interface between assembly, electrical engineering, service and customer support. The site is located at a production site in Switzerland
- In addition, the activity includes regular international travel activities with assignments at the customer site. We are looking for a professionally experienced personality who combines technical understanding, personal responsibility and customer orientation.
Tasks
- They take over the electromechanical design and the precise electrical wiring of high-tech plants in the plant.
- They install and maintain machines professionally and work carefully and technically accurately.
- They accompany test runs and factory acceptance in close cooperation with customers and internal interfaces.
- They put plants into operation at the customer’s premises worldwide and accompany them until final acceptance on site.
- They train the customer staff and provide the safe handling of the facilities in daily operations.
- You are willing to spend around 50 percent of your working time abroad, in assignments of one to a maximum of five weeks.
Profile
- They have completed mechanical training, for example as polymechanics, or a comparable qualification.
- Ideally, you bring electrotechnical knowledge and thus complement your technical profile.
- They work analytically, goal-oriented and find suitable solutions for complex technical tasks.
- They speak very well in English and communicate safely in an international environment.
- They are characterized by customer orientation, a sense of responsibility and organizational skill.
- They see international travel as a welcome change and professional challenge.
