Introduction
For an internationally active company in mechanical and plant engineering for innovative packaging solutions, we are looking for a service engineer or Service technician (m/f/d) for electromechanical construction, electrical wiring and commissioning of demanding high-tech systems. The location is in an industrial environment with a strong international focus and occasional worldwide travel activities. We are looking for a technically-savvy personality with a structured working method, a secure appearance in customer contact and the ability to professionally install, maintain and successfully remove machines and plants together with the customer. The working environment is characterized by responsibility, teamwork and a high technical quality standard. The focus is on precise execution, international cooperation and professional support of test runs, factory acceptance and customer commissioning on site.
Tasks
- They take over the electromechanical design and the precise electrical wiring of modern high-tech systems.
- They install and maintain machines professionally and work with technical know-how and a high level of attention to detail.
- In close cooperation with customers, they accompany test runs and factory acceptance of the plants.
- They put plants into operation at the customer’s premises worldwide and accompany the machines until final acceptance on site.
- They train the customer staff and provide the safe handling of the installed systems.
- You are ready for international assignments, which can make up around 50 percent of your working time.
Profile
- They have completed mechanical training, for example as polymechanics, or a comparable qualification.
- Ideally, you will bring electrotechnical knowledge and thus complement your technical profile.
- They work analytically, goal-oriented and find viable solutions for complex tasks.
- They have very good English skills in word and writing for secure communication in an international environment.
- Other languages are beneficial and support cooperation with international contacts.
- They are characterized by customer orientation, a sense of responsibility and organizational skill.
- You see international travel as a useful addition and a professional challenge.
