We are seeking a Senior Test Specialist to join our team.

- 3+ years’ proven track record as a hands-on Senior Test Engineer/Manager or Testing Lead in complex IT transformation projects
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM)
Key requirements
- 3+ years’ proven track record as a hands-on Senior Test Engineer/Manager or Testing Lead in complex IT transformation projects
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM)
- Experience with test automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and performance testing tools
- Solid knowledge of financial systems, e.g. regulatory reporting, risk reporting, and similar (preferred)
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Level, PMP, or Agile Testing are highly desirable
- Understanding of DevOps concepts such as CI/CD and the importance and value of automated testing
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Willingness to learn new ways of working while supporting Julius Baer in its transformation
- You take pride in your work and strive to lead by example
- Cross-cultural mindset, empathy, and can-do spirit
- Fast learner with understanding of business context
- Able to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders Fluent in English; German is a nice-to-have

- Defines test strategies, coordinates test environments, and ensures defect tracking
- Collaborates with development, business analysts, and project managers to align testing with project goals
- Manages functional, regression, and non-functional testing processes Coordinates test environment usage
- Supports test automation coverage and capability for automated regression testing
- Ensures compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
- Leads and mentors test team members, promoting continuous improvement in test efficiency and coverage
