Production mechanic:in About the profession As a production mechanic: with a focus on maintenance, you work in our mechanical-technical workshop, where you manufacture individual parts for devices, machines and instruments from steel and other metals. You will be trained in a wide variety of processing and connection techniques. For production, you work with a wide variety of machines and assemble individual parts into larger units, so-called assemblies. The orders and projects range from small precision turned parts to large mechanical, pneumatic and mechanical elements. Maintenance and repair work in the works are a big part of your work.
