What to expect
- Implementation, defence and enforcement of intellectual property
- Defense of claims from foreign intellectual property
- Contact person within the EMS Group for all patent- and trademark-related matters
- Performing patent and literature searches, in particular for determining the state of the art in the case of new applications or oppositions, regular monitoring of third-party rights and freedom-to-operate investigations
- Examining and drawing up contracts in cooperation with the Legal Service

- Good knowledge in the field of polymer chemistry
- Experience in the field of patents is advantageous, also patent attorney candidates in training or patent attorneys
