With more than 600 employees in the Schiers hospital, the three retirement homes Schiers, Jenaz and Klosters, Spitex, living with service, crèche, parental counselling and the Klosters Medical Center, the Flury Foundation provides comprehensive and integrated health care in the Prättigau between Grüsch and Klosters safely. Our hospital in Schiers is a modern primary care hospital with an interdisciplinary station with 41 beds for the clinics of surgery, medicine, gynecology and obstetrics, an outpatient day clinic, the emergency and the certified Intermediate Care Station (IMC). The obstetrics department includes the birth department and the postpartum department. Our established, experienced and committed midwife team accompanies around 180 expectant parents every year through pregnancy, birth and inpatient postpartum. An individual, needs-oriented and empathetic care of the families is particularly important to us. To strengthen our team, we are looking for 1. January 2027 or by appointment a midwife with a commitment of 100% until 31. July 2027, after which 80%
Your responsibilities include
- Need-oriented and individual care of pregnant women, childbearers and women who have recently given birth
- Conduct of pregnancy checks in cooperation with medical staff
- Independent management of the birth, in cooperation with the obstetric service doctor
- Independent care of the newborns and their newborns in postpartum
- Interdisciplinary cooperation with doctors and other nursing departments.
Your profile
- Training as a diplomat midwife FH/HF
- Quick comprehension, independent, solution-oriented and reliable working method
- Communicative, friendly and empathetic personality, with high social competence and team skills
