Introduction
Do you like to lead people clearly and appreciatively, think in clean processes and ensure that material flows function reliably? For our customer we are looking for you as logistics manager. You are responsible for incoming goods, warehouses, picking, shipping and transport - with a focus on quality, deadlines, costs and satisfaction of our customers.
Tasks
- Technical and personnel management of the logistics team
- Planning and controlling material flows including internal supply
- Responsible for stocks: setting target stocks and ranges, carrying out inventories, clarifying differences
- Key performance indicators include delivery deadlines, lead times, warehouse turnover, productivity
- Analyze deviations and implement measures
- Freight forwarding & transport: booking/optimizing freight, planning tours, interface with forwarders
- Ensure service level
- Quality & Safety: Anchoring occupational safety and quality in everyday life
- Consider dangerous goods basics
Profile
- Completed training as a logistician
- Further education as a logistics specialist with federal law. FA or comparable advantage
- Several years of management experience in warehouse/shipping/intralogistics of an industrial company
- Competent in inventory management, material flow, 5S/Lean and continuous improvement
- Safe to use ERP/WMS and handheld scanners
- High data and process care
- Very good knowledge of German in word and writing
