The Operations business unit produces parts for all Hamilton companies, from injection molded parts and pipette tips for liquid handling to metal and plastic parts.

- Operational implementation of lean initiatives directly in assembly and production
- Active conversion and further development of existing workstations according to lean principles
- Completed basic technical training (e. g.
- B. polymechanic, automation technician, fitter)
Main responsibilities
- Operational implementation of lean initiatives directly in assembly and production
- Active conversion and further development of existing workstations according to lean principles
- Design and introduction of tool and material holders (5S, ergonomics, material flow)
- Definition, visualization and optimization of the assembly sequence
- Introduction and maintenance of standards (workstation layouts, labeling, visual guidance)
- Implementation and coordination of changes during ongoing operations
- Supporting the Lean Project Manager in the planning, implementation and follow-up of measures
- Close cooperation with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics and Quality
- Ensuring the sustainability of the implemented improvements (CIP / continuous development)
Key requirements
- Completed basic technical training (e. g.
- B. polymechanic, automation technician, fitter)
- Practical lean experience in production or assembly (e.g. 5S, standard work, layout optimizations, CIP)
- High technical understanding of workstations, tools and assembly processes
- Structured, solution-oriented and strong implementation approach
- High presence on the store floor, hands-on mentality
- Ability to involve employees in changes and inspire them to make improvements Proficient with MS Office tools
