The High Alpine Institute Ftan (HIF) is looking for a chef / chef de Partie (100%) for the food of our students and employees.
Nestled in the heart of the Swiss Alps, the High Alpine Institute Ftan (HIF) is much more than a school – it is an experience. Students at HIF are empowered to shape their own future, with the Swiss Matura, the International Diploma Programme and our exclusive Sports Academy.
Through our Ignite program, we welcome many students from Asia, to whom we would like to offer a piece of home in the middle of the Swiss Alps with familiar dishes – which is why we are particularly pleased about applications from chefs with experience in Asian, especially Chinese, cuisine.

The successful candidate brings the following
- Training and/or professional experience as a cook
- Joy of cooking with fresh products
- Joy of working with children and young people
- Structured working methods and good organisational skills
- Readiness for occasional assignments on weekends and special occasions
- Teamwork and enjoyment of working in a dynamic environment
- Knowledge of German is an advantage, further language skills are welcome
- Experience in Chinese cuisine is beneficial.
