The Bundner Kantonsschule is an important educational institution with approximately 1,000 pupils from all three cantonal languages. As a department of the Office for Higher Education, it offers secondary education courses at the \- and short-term high school as well as at the specialist, commercial and computer science schools. The Informatikdienst provides a secure and reliable digital infrastructure for teaching and learning operations, supports learners, teachers and employees with technical concerns and accompanies the school in the further development of its digital work and learning environment.
We are looking for the computer service per 1\. January 2027 or by agreement one/\-n ICT\-System Engineer/\-in Support\& Projects.
Your responsibilities
- Ensuring the operation of the IT\ infrastructure and the system environment as well as their further development
- Support of server, network, client and cloud systems based on Microsoft, Apple and Linux technologies
- Analysis and correction of technical problems in 1st and 2nd level support and support of teachers, employees and learners in technical problems
- Planning and realization of IT\ projects, development of technical concepts and introduction of new solutions and technologies
- Support and development of audio, video and media technology in the school premises
- Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation, standards and processes
- Support for teachers and employees in the use of digital tools and in the technical implementation of new digital learning and working forms

- Completed training as a computer scientist or equivalent qualification
- Professional experience in administration and support of IT\ infrastructures as well as good knowledge in several of the following areas: Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, network, virtualization and client\ systems
- Experience with IT\ projects, concept work and in the introduction of new technologies
- Analytical, networked thinking, an independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working and the willingness to take responsibility
- Service-oriented, open personality who enjoys working with people and has the ability to convey technical issues in an understandable way
- Knowledge of German, knowledge of other cantonal languages and interest in the development of digital media in education are beneficial
