Start by appointment as department manager: in coding 80 - 100%

In the Department of Medical Coding, we are responsible for around 20,000 inpatient cases per year, as well as external coding for partner institutions. Our team of experienced professionals with a mostly medical background stands for precision, reliability and high level of expertise. As head of department, you take responsibility for people, processes and quality – in a key function at the interface between medicine and economics. Do you not only want to implement coding, but actively develop it and lead a committed team – whether as individual or co-leader? Perfect, then we look forward to hearing from you and your plans!

These are your tasks

• You take over the technical and personnel management of the coding department and support the clinics competently in coding-relevant questions
• With your specialist perspective, you develop coding processes further, encode stationary cases from all departments and drive cross-divisional projects forward
• You actively participate in quality assurance and ensure complete, timely and audit-proof encryption

You bring that with you

• Several years of experience as a medical:r encoder:in or comparable qualification (medical:r documentation assistant:in, documentary:in or encoder) in the hospital environment – ideally with a federal professional card
• Experience leading teams or a clear willingness to develop in this field
• In-depth knowledge of medical controlling and relevant coding systems
• Strong communication skills, high reliability and initiative
