YOUR TASKS
- Responsibility for the design, operation and further development of our global backup infrastructure
- Ensuring stable, secure, high-performance and highly available enterprise-level backup operations
- Definition, implementation and further development of backup standards, policies and processes
- Support and further development of storage and server virtualization in the context of data protection
- Documentation of the systems as well as participation in overarching IT\ projects and concepts
Your profile
- Completed education or study in the IT\ area
- Sound and verifiable experience in the backup environment
- Very good knowledge of backup technologies and architectures
- Experience with Commvault is beneficial
- Solid knowledge in storage and server virtualization
- A sense of responsibility and a structured and independent working method
- Experience with agile methods as well as project management or collaboration tools
- Joy of teamwork, initiative and participation
- Readiness for occasional travel
