Mission
Attached to our Components Division, you will be responsible for the complete management of the quality improvement project and the internal process of the manufacture of platinums, in partnership with the workshop manager, the employees and the support functions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a review of workshop practices to identify the influential parameters of the flat grinding process and to establish a state of art.
- Collect, analyze and structure existing data related to platinum manufacturing processes.
- Create an experiment plan based on the parameters previously identified (Taguchi method), perform the necessary tests in production and analyze the results.
- Quantify mill wear empirically.
- Assess relevance and impact of workshop practices and make recommendations for improvement.
- Propose robust and repeatable production standards (setting instructions, grinding cadencer) to ensure the dimensional and aesthetic requirements of the component (planeness, roughness, etc.).
Profile sought
- Currently in Master in Materials Science and Engineering, or Microtechnique.
- Mastery of Excel advanced.
- Data analysis and project management skills.
- Ability to structure, synthesize and value information from various sources.
- Knowledge of an LES, a plus.
- Rigor, precision, analysis and synthesis.
- Orientation "solutions" and strength of proposal.
- Internship contract or as part of a Master's Project, lasting 6 months.
