Role overview

Tasks

• Management and supervision

They take on the role as medical shift manager of the emergency operation and supervise the assistant doctors in patient care.

• Promotion of professional qualifications

They support the assistant doctors in obtaining the certificate of competence for clinical emergency medicine and in the further development of their ultrasound knowledge.

• Interdisciplinary exchange

They are in close contact with the referees and the various specialists of the Cantonal Hospital Aarau (KSA).

• Further education and internal clinical processes

They actively participate in the further education of doctors and are involved in the internal processes of the clinic.

• Shift service

They participate in the shift service system and ensure the presence of cadre doctors around the clock (24/7).

Requirements

• You have one of the following specialist titles: General Internal Medicine, Intensive Care Medicine, Cardiology, Anesthesiology, Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (Foreign diploma with MEBEKO recognition)

• Completed certificate of ability "Clinical Emergency Medicine SGNOR" or shortly before

• Good ultrasound knowledge is advantageous

• They are capable of teamwork, flexible and committed

• Excellent knowledge of German in words and writing
