Role overview

As a psychotherapist of a multidisciplinary team, you offer psychological follow-up and individual and group psychotherapy in forensic psychiatry, adult patients-inmates and patients-inmates with chronic psychiatric disorders (psychotic disorders, personality disorders, addictions, paraphilia, etc.) in one of the hospital units located on the Belle-Idee site.

These follow-ups are aimed at preventing criminal recidivism and are part of a multidisciplinary care programme, in close collaboration with the prison security team and regular networking with the Geneva judicial authorities.

These are exclusively judicially ordered follow-ups, i.e. in the context of an institutional therapeutic measure within the meaning of Article 59 of the Swiss Criminal Code.
