Main responsibilities
- Key Responsibilities
- Leads facility safety objectives.
- Assures department compliance with ISO quality standards
- Assures department functions are complying with quality certification and specific requirements (primarily weld and NDE).
- Assigns work to subordinates and assists them in accomplishing tasks
- Drives to maximize shop absorption and personnel labor efficiency. Reports weekly to SCM
- Monitors job task hours and holds team accountable for targets.
- Reports results weekly to SCM.
- Drives team to meet job costing targets.
- Drives process improvements to continually reduce task hours.
Key requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years experience in related environment, preferably working with pumps Proven leadership ability
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally
