Role overview
In order to avoid a stay in the hospital or to promote an early exit, home hospitalisation (HAD) is intended for anyone, from infant to adult, for whom technical and/or complex hospital-type care is required.
Thus, HAD operates throughout the canton 365d/year and 24h/24, when care is deemed possible at home and specific expertise in a specialized field is required (pediatry, adult and paediatric oncology, nephrology, wound care, etc.).
The offer of HAD services is part of the relay and complement of the provision of services by the IMAD home maintenance teams.

- Your missions and responsibilities
- Respond effectively to specific care by providing autonomously and on medical delegation of technically complex nursing care at home to clients, usually provided in hospital (blood transfusion, peritoneal dialysis, antibiotic IV,...)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Minimum two years of professional experience in a hospital setting within an acute care service Proficient in technical care
Main responsibilities
- Your missions and responsibilities
- Respond effectively to specific care by providing autonomously and on medical delegation of technically complex nursing care at home to clients, usually provided in hospital (blood transfusion, peritoneal dialysis, antibiotic IV,...)
- Provide comprehensive personalized care to clients of all ages and high risk of hospitalization, with severe conditions (adult and paediatric palliative care) or chronic (somatic and/or psychological) conditions
- Exercising a role of situational referent and acting in accordance with the principles of the Code of Nursing Ethics to ensure overall care of the client in his or her usual environment
- Participate in the institutional mission to foster home care in a stimulating environment for our clients. Bachelor of Nursing
- Minimum two years of work experience in hospital in acute care Dexterity in technical care
- Adaptability, flexibility and responsiveness
- Great relational ease, ability to manage stress and sense of responsibility Knowledge of the Geneva care network
- Ability to work independently and as an interdisciplinary team
- Essential car mobility.
