Full description
We are looking for a qualified and motivated nurse to join our emergency department team. The ideal candidate is dynamic, able to react quickly in a demanding environment and knows how to offer quality care with compassion and professionalism. Main missions:
- Provide care, assessment and care for patients in emergency situations
- Administer first aid and stabilize patients awaiting treatment or intervention
- Working with physicians and other caregivers to provide timely and appropriate care
- Managing priorities in a tense flow environment by applying existing protocols and procedures
- Participate in ongoing patient monitoring, anticipate and respond to immediate needs
- Ensuring clear and reassuring communication with patients and their families
- Inform and maintain medical records accurately and confidentially Competencies required:
- State diploma of nurse or recognized equivalent
- Right of practice in the Canton of Geneva
- Experience in emergency service or other acute care environment (a major asset)
- Mastery of the Swiss sorting scale.
- Mastery of immobilization techniques (including Woodcast)
- Mastery of emergency technical gestures and medical surveillance tools
- Ability to manage stressful situations and work in an intense environment
- Excellent observation and rapid decision-making capacity
- Organizational sense, rigour, and ability to manage priorities
- Good relational skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team Conditions:
- Start: as soon as possible
- Activity rate: 70%
- Schedules on rotation, including weekends, and holidays

- 5 weeks of vacation
