Role overview
As a nurse or nurse in a neurology unit at Bellerive Hospital, including a long-term neurological care area, you independently and/or under medical delegation ensure that you are able to provide comprehensive and personalized care to patients and patients with complex neurological conditions, such as cerebralised patients and patients.
You are conducting increased monitoring of neurological symptoms in order to anticipate complications of patients with long-term altered state of consciousness.
You provide specific care such as tracheotomy, over-the-counter catheters, long-term feeding probes (LRPs).

As a nurse or nurse in a neurology unit at Bellerive Hospital, including a long-term neurological care area, you independently and/or under medical delegation ensure that you are able to provide comprehensive and personalized care to patients and patients with complex neurological conditions, such as cerebralised patients and patients. You are conducting increased monitoring of neurological symptoms in order to anticipate complications of patients with long-term altered state of consciousness.
You provide specific care such as tracheotomy, over-the-counter catheters, long-term feeding probes (LRPs). You provide support to the families of patients and create a care partnership by directing them to appropriate resources. Training in the care, support of families or maintenance in difficult contexts is an asset. You are an interprofessional team and coordinate the care provided to patients and patients.
You also perform a function of supervision and teaching to the trainees and new staff. Finally, you contribute to the development of the quality of care and conduct professional reflection based on the analysis of nursing practices.
