Our paediatric service offers children an integrated and comprehensive care, among various disciples (pediatricians, pediatric emergency workers, neonatologists, surgeons and pediatric orthopaedists). Obtaining ISFM accreditation as a post-graduate training centre in paediatric surgery — category C is in progress. We recruit one Internal physician (Assistant physician) in paediatric surgery (ref: 1971) Your mission: In a state-of-the-art facility, you are employed in a multi-disciplinary team of nurses, caregivers, pediatric doctors, pediatric emergency workers, neonatologists, surgeons and pediatric orthopaedists. As part of your function, you are in charge of;

• Pre- and post-operative management of paediatric patients (0–18 years)
• Patient care in paediatric emergenciesActive participation in surgery in the operating room
• Clinical monitoring of inpatients and outpatient consultation
• Preparation of operational reports and exit letters
• Participation in symposia and medical-surgical meetings
• Collaboration with paediatric, anaesthesiology and nursing teams
• Involvement in the continuing training activities of the service We are looking for a profile that meets the following criteria:
• Holder of the Federal Medical Diploma recognized by the Federal Medical Professions Commission (MEBEKO).
• Interest in paediatric surgery or general surgery
• An initial experience in surgery or paediatrics is an asset
• Having a perfect oral and written knowledge of French and a knowledge of English is an asset.
• Relationship with children and their families
• Autonomy, benevolence, versatility, adaptability, organization and sense of priority are essential qualities.
