Orthopaedic surgery treats diseases and accidents affecting the motor system, including bones, joints, muscles, tendons and nerves.

We are recruiting

Nurse in the Orthopaedic Surgery Unit - HOM 8 Month 75% (ref: 1980)

Your mission

You will need to accommodate the patient and prepare him physically and psychologically for surgery.

As such you are in charge of;

• Install the patient and present the administrative organization information
• Provide pre- and post-operative care, surveillance and technical care in orthopaedic surgery
• Prevent the occurrence of nosocomial infections by promoting a healthy environment around the patient, by respecting hygiene and aseptic rules
• Perform care on medical prescription and in accordance with unit and institutional procedures
• Maintaining the Informatized Patient Record (Carefolio)
• Attend the necessary training to maintain and develop the skills expected for his position
• Adapting to emergency situations; know how to alert and contact the right person and ensure emergency actions
• Actively participate in the organization of the unit

We are looking for a profile that meets the following criteria:

• Diploma of Nurse
• Work in 12 hours
• In possession of Red Cross Recognition
• 2-3 years of hospital experience
• Meet the requirements of all our patients (semi-private, private and VIP)
• Languages: French, English (ideally)
• Orthopedic surgery experience
• Meaning of contact and service in a private establishment
• Self-reliance, benevolence, versatility (surgical pole), adaptability, organization and sense of priority are essential qualities
• Proof of flexibility in planning
• Positive attitude within a team and are able to generate a climate of confidence
• Good knowledge of computer tools (Opal, Carefolio)
