Role overview

The Directorate of Operations (DBO) faces many challenges, including the optimization of the organisation and the fluidity of all its processes in a particularly complex and constrained environment.

It must enhance the effectiveness of operational programming and optimize the use of its resources, while constantly ensuring the quality and safety of care, whether emergency or elective.

Company and context

  • You contribute to these objectives by being integrated or integrated into the DBO under the functional responsibility of its Director and under the hierarchical responsibility of the senior flow engineer in the department of flow engineering and organizations (SIFO) attached to the Finance Directorate.
  • At the request of the Director of the DBO, you are actively undertaking major projects of analysis and optimization in close coordination with the medical and administrative teams in place and using the methodologies of flow engineering validated by the SIFO.
  • You manage a portfolio of patient and logistic flow analyses to support institutional projects and optimize the organization, resources and quality of processes.
  • You conduct studies, diagnostics and simulations using complex data, using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, process mining or statistical simulation.
  • You lead and coordinate multidisciplinary working groups, define missions, conduct analyses and ensure the achievement of objectives.
  • You encourage the emergence of innovative solutions, manage differences and accompany organizational changes induced by your recommendations.
  • You advise managers on organizational, performance and risk management issues.
  • You present your results to governance bodies and prepare structured analytical reports, allowing informed decision making.
  • You prepare, model and analyze the data needed for flow studies, using tools such as Excel, SQL, R, Python or FlexSim.
  • You accompany the teams in the implementation of performance, relevance and steering reviews using dashboards.
