For our Research & Development division, we are seeking an Eco-Design Engineer (M/F) whose primary mission will be to support design teams in the development of more sustainable products.

- For our Research & Development division, we are seeking an Eco-Design Engineer (M/F) whose primary mission will be to support design teams in the development of more sustainable products.
- Integration of environmental criteria from the design phase of a product or process to reduce its impact throughout its life cycle, and to accompany teams in this direction
- Understanding of the environmental impacts of projects, products, and processes through life cycle assessments (LCA) to guide eco-design choices
- EPF/HES engineering degree in engineering sciences or equivalent training, with a minor in durability desired Knowledge of materials and processes Expertise in eco-design
- Proposals for innovative materials, new technologies, and more sustainable manufacturing processes
Main responsibilities
- Integration of environmental criteria from the design phase of a product or process to reduce its impact throughout its life cycle, and to accompany teams in this direction
- Understanding of the environmental impacts of projects, products, and processes through life cycle assessments (LCA) to guide eco-design choices
- Innovation in a sustainable manner while respecting other product and process requirements, such as quality and cost
- Accompanying teams in the eco-design of products
- Proposal of innovative technical solutions to reduce the environmental impact of products and processes Profile
- EPF/HES engineering degree in engineering sciences or equivalent training, with a minor in durability desired Knowledge of materials and processes Expertise in eco-design
- Proposals for innovative materials, new technologies, and more sustainable manufacturing processes
- Ability to translate environmental challenges into concrete solutions for design teams
- Experience in life cycle assessments (LCA), an asset
- Interest in regulations and technological developments in the environmental field Teaching skills
Key requirements
