Introduction
For our entity The Rolex Film Company, we are looking for a Production Manager whose main mission will be to monitor each film we fund, from the preparation of the closing to the delivery, in close connection with producers, production teams and our external advice (lawyers, financial experts).
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the evaluation of projects by analysing budgets, schedules, financing plans and risks, and pointing out the points of attention prior to the investment decision
- Follow the preparation of the closing of each film: review of budgets, financing plans and contracts, coordination of lawyers and external experts responsible for their negotiation and writing, maintenance of the calendar until signature
- Follow-up of films in production, in regular contact with producers and film crews: promotion, cost ratios, budget variances, calls for funds and compliance with contractual commitments, anticipating difficulties and bringing them back without delay
- Accompany post-production until the film and contractual elements are delivered
- Pilot the closure of each film: follow-up of final cost, final accounts and audits carried out by external experts, then archive the complete file
- Keep RFC management informed of the status of the film portfolio through regular reporting
Profile
- Training in audiovisual production, management or finance, or equivalent experience
- Experience confirmed in film production, from preparation to delivery, with a concrete knowledge of the process of filming
- Good understanding of film budgets, cost reports, financing plans and production and co-production contracts.
- Ability to follow several projects in parallel
- Excellent mastery of French and English, oral and written
- Relationship and ease in taking the position
