Your Mission

Within a multidisciplinary team, you ensure the assessment and analysis of the situations of persons seeking assistance. According to the requests, you offer social information, social support adapted to the specifics of each situation and if necessary evaluate and issue the financial benefit of social assistance, within the framework of the Law on social assistance and the fight against precariousness (LASLP) and cantonal guidelines related to assistance to migrants. Your main activities

• You analyze and evaluate the beneficiary's request;
• In partnership with the beneficiary, you take stock of his social situation by raising his skills and mobilizing his resources to support him in his return to autonomy;
• In collaboration with professionals with relevant expertise and the beneficiary himself, you are building a social support project and the means of its implementation (definition of objectives and an action strategy) with a view to its social and/or professional reintegration;
• You assess and verify compliance with the various rights of the beneficiary, including social insurance;
• In partnership with the financial and administrative manager, you guarantee the allocation of financial assistance under cantonal or federal legal provisions;
• You work closely with the social, administrative and medico-social network.

Your profile

• You have a Bachelor's degree in social work, humanities, or equivalent training;
• Confirmed experience of social work is an asset;
• You show a strong interest in human relations;
• You have a good knowledge of Geneva institutions;
• You like to collaborate actively within a multidisciplinary team;
• You are proactive, agile and creative;
• You have a good ability to analyse and adapt;
• You are oriented solutions.
