Vacancy DBA Sybase / MS SQL (M/F) 100% Occupancy rate 100% Start date of entry to be agreed Duration Permanent Place of work Thônex For more than 60 years, we have been active in the field of invoicing and the management of medical offices, we have about 10 agencies and employ over 350 employees at national level. Our main clients are doctors, specialists and paramedics, as well as clinics and hospitals. Our business applications are based on SAP ASE (Sybase) and MS SQL Server which are critical to our business.
Your Mission
- Administration and operation
- Ensure administration and proper functioning of SAP ASE (Sybase) and MS SQL Production Server
- Ensure the availability, reliability and performance of the bases supporting our business applications
- Manage backups, restorations, high availability and disaster recovery, and regularly test their proper functioning
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization, conduct audits and propose improvements
- Dealing with level 2/3 incidents and problems on the database perimeter
- Participate in the development projects of our data base
- Ensuring data security and compliance with existing regulations in an environment subject to medical confidentiality
- Establish controls, alerts and access reviews
- Providing support to technical and functional teams
- Document procedures, runbooks and good practices, and automate recurring tasks

Your profile
- Training: Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Databases or Training deemed equivalent
- Experience: minimum 5 years in database administration, including confirmed experience on SAP ASE (Sybase) and/or MS SQL Server
- Technical expertise
- SAP ASE Administration Expertise (Sybase) and MS SQL Server
- Mastery of SQL and T-SQL
- Experience in tuning and performance optimization
- Good knowledge of database security and HA/DR (high availability and disaster recovery)
- Knowledge of migration and data replication tools
- Scripting (Shell, PowerShell or Python) for automation
- A knowledge of PostgreSQL is a plus
- Docker/Kubernet notions are a plus
Languages
- Current French
- English level B1/B2 minimum required
- German is a real asset
