Role overview

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Boarding House Tutors are key members of our boarding community, bringing energy, enthusiasm, and a flexible, student-centred approach to daily boarding life.

Working closely with the House Parents, they provide pastoral care, support students' well-being and personal development, contribute to the smooth running of the house, and help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.

This role is ideal for people looking to gain valuable experience in education, youth development, or pastoral care.

  • TERMS AND CONDITIONS Boarding House Tutor will be required to work throughout the term, with one day off per week and one weekend off once every two weeks.
  • Accommodation in a Boarding House will be provided from the start of the year until the end of the academic year.
  • The monthly salary is CHF2,000.- Meals are also provided during term time.
  • Private health insurance is compulsory in Switzerland, and as part of the package, CDL will offer Health Insurance to eligible Boarding Graduate Assistants, and we will cover up to CHF 250 of their transportation costs for the first travel.

  • Background investigations and reference checks for the past ten years will be conducted during the selection process.
