Role overview
As part of a growing demand linked to the demographic evolution of the elderly and our commitment to the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive disorders and dementias, the unit for the treatment and prevention of dementias (UTPD) of the GSP develops and recruits an assistant doctor or doctors to work in pairs with the assistant doctor responsible for the unit.
You guarantee the quality of the unit's medical services and intervene in an integrative and holistic clinical care, to relieve the elderly by establishing a precise diagnosis and assessment of each patient or patient, the development and use of the best available treatments by studying the scientific bases and administration of health services for the elderly in close collaboration with caregivers, medical-social institutions (MSIs), doctors from other specialties, including geriatrics and neurology, doctors in private practice, and community health workers.
You are also involved in the intensified and personalized psychotherapeutic intervention of patients including a special programme for people with mild cognitive disorders.
