The Mother/Child Centre offers a multidisciplinary care for young patients and pregnant women and their newborns. A team of professionals, made up of doctors, nurses, midwives and caregivers, takes care of children and their families in a space dedicated to their well-being, from birth to 18 years.

To complete this service we are recruiting a

Hospital Aid(E) – Mother Child Department – 75% to 75% - 6 months (ref: 2004)

Your mission

In a state-of-the-art facility you are in a diverse position on a multidisciplinary team of nurses, health care workers, physicians and midwives.

You will need to provide care for children with multi-purpose pathologies, as part of a comprehensive acute care in paediatrics, but you will also be required to work in the maternity ward where you will be providing care for patients and their families.

As such you are in charge of;

• To welcome the patient and his family or pregnant woman and his family by making them involved in care
• Collect administrative data
• Care for the child, the pregnant woman and/or the newborn in its entirety in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and to meet its basic needs (hygiene, pain, food, comfort,...)
• Ensure the supply of equipment, verify its operation and ensure the management of maintenance, apply cleaning and disinfection procedures
• Participate in the proper functioning of the service, make transmissions on the computerised care file
• Update professional practices in relation to the service or institutional care procedures

We are looking for a profile that meets the following criteria:

• 1 to 2 years of minimum experience with a hospital structure,
• Experience in pediatrics or with indispensable children
• Diploma of aide-soignant or child care assistant
• Knowledge of Carefolio an asset
• Self-reliance, benevolence, versatility, adaptability and organization, spirit of team
• Flexibility, proactivity and sense of priority are essential qualities
