- The Expropriation Commission is aware of all the questions of assessment that the Expropriation Act does not fall within the jurisdiction of another authority, as well as claims for compensation for material expropriation, and also exercises the powers conferred by other provisions of cantonal law on the judge or judges of expropriation, formally or by equivalent expressions (art. 3), such as claims for compensation from a neighbour or neighbour under the Planning and Construction Act. - The Judicial Council is seeking a Vice-President, a lawyer, a licence or a Master's degree in law, or with experience in the judicial field, with knowledge of the administrative law of the canton, particularly in the fields of construction and planning (planning).
- Cantonal active citizenship: persons of foreign nationality must be holders of a residence permit and have been domiciled in the canton for at least five years.
- Candidates must not be the subject of a deed of lack of property, not have been convicted of offences incompatible with the office
