- The Intern will be in contact with a portfolio of counterparties dealing with key responsibilities on the trade lifecycle: deal confirmations, invoicing, payments and contract management. Activities:
- Assist with daily validation (within 24 hours) of trades entered into the ETRM system, ensuring that accurate trading information is represented within our trading system;
Main responsibilities
- The Intern will be in contact with a portfolio of counterparties dealing with key responsibilities on the trade lifecycle: deal confirmations, invoicing, payments and contract management. Activities:
- Assist with daily validation (within 24 hours) of trades entered into the ETRM system, ensuring that accurate trading information is represented within our trading system;
- Reconcile counterpart/TSO invoices against the system in liaison with the Operations, Middle Office and Energy Data Management departments to resolve discrepancies
- Send invoices to counterparts within industry or contractual deadlines and ensure that the payments instructions are submitted to finance in a timely manner to comply with contractual payment dates
- Assist the Accounting team with accruals, aged debt reporting and resolution
- Support documentation control, contract archiving, and audit compliance tasks.
- Effective communications with numerous internal and external parties to ensure timely resolution of discrepancies and queries Candidate Profile:
- The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ideally with a knowledge of power & renewable business in France and Europe
- A high level of engagement, reliability, and strong team player mentality, being able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
