Role overview

Senior Consultant (m/w/d) 80%-100%, Zurich, unlimited print Print The Department of Safety, Health and Environment (SGU) advises, supports and advises all organisational units and members of ETH Zurich on issues relating to safety and health at work and environmental protection.

We have an appropriate emergency organisation for the event.

In everyday life as well as in the event, we work closely with the authorities and external agents.

  • You advise our organizational units with expertise, empathy and vision – not just from the desk
  • Whether laboratory, workshop or field work: you are in the middle when it comes to connecting security with innovation
  • You work closely with an interdisciplinary team and bring your expertise in chemical safety
  • Developing security concepts, performing desires, training employees and finding pragmatic solutions – always with the aim of protecting people, the environment and infrastructure as best possible
  • Your work is characterised by self-responsibility, dialogue and the need to be better together
  • Your workplace is in Zurich, but at times you are also working at other ETH locations Profile
  • Completed scientific education in the field of chemistry, chemical laboratory or comparable training
  • Multiannual experience in laboratory environment with very good knowledge in chemical safety and laboratory safety
  • ASA specialist:in with a professional identity card – or willingness to complete this training
  • Radiation protection expert:r (open handling) – or willingness to complete these trainings
