Main responsibilities
- You procure raw materials in the fresh meat sector and ensure a needs-based supply
- You maintain and develop existing supplier relationships sustainably
- You conduct price, volume and contract negotiations and achieve economically optimal solutions
- You observe the market, analyze supply and demand situations and derive suitable measures
- You ensure the availability of goods taking into account quality, costs and deadlines
- You work closely with planning, production, sales and supply chain and coordinate the relevant interfaces Requirements
- Multiannual experience: in a leadership role in the meat industry
- Completed vocational apprenticeship (EFZ): or higher vocational school degree, preferably as a meat specialist, cook or in food technology with a focus on meat products, as well as training in marketing or sales.
- You have leadership experience and understand how to motivate and develop employees
- You are a team player and enjoy dealing with people and building sustainable relationships
