- In particular, you will assist the Environmental Data Officer with her ad hoc analyses and cross-functional projects Main duties and responsibilities
- Collaborate on the collection, cleaning, structuring and documentation of environmental data, ensuring its traceability and quality
Main responsibilities
- In particular, you will assist the Environmental Data Officer with her ad hoc analyses and cross-functional projects Main duties and responsibilities
- Collaborate on the collection, cleaning, structuring and documentation of environmental data, ensuring its traceability and quality
- Process and analyse data using Excel and Python
- Contribute to the preparation of EPFL’s carbon footprint assessment and that of laboratory activities
- Contribute to the development of the CO2 Calculator project in terms of calculation methodology and data
- Contribute to analyses aimed at studying the environmental impact and the progress of sustainability practices at EPFL
- Contribute to the drafting of communication content on sustainability results and initiatives (annual reports, dashboards, infographics) Profile
- Master’s degree in environmental engineering, computational science, mathematics, data science, or a related field (the internship must begin within 12 months of graduation).
- Advanced skills in Excel (complex formulas, VBA) and Python (pandas, numpy, visualisation) for data processing and analysis
- Experience with best practices in versioning and code management (Git, GitHub/GitLab, etc.)
