Are you interested in working for the general public? Then the BACS is right for you!
The Federal Office for Cybersecurity (BACS) is the competence center of the Federal Government for Cybersecurity (international name National Cyber Security Centre NCSC) and thus the first point of contact for business, administration, educational institutions and the population in cyber issues.
The BACS raises awareness and warns the public and authorities about cyber threats and cyberattacks. It handles reports on incidents and threats in cyberspace and in particular supports operators of critical infrastructures in coping with cyberattacks with technical analysis. The BACS provides recommendations for measures against cyber incidents and for resolving vulnerabilities.

What salary does Confederazione Svizzera offer for this role?
Confederazione Svizzera lists CHF 68'500 - 104'000 gross per year for this position in Bern. This is the salary published in the original listing — the calculator on this site converts it to your actual net take-home once cross-border tax and social contributions are applied.

This listing is a internship position. The contract type shown here comes directly from the employer's original posting; always confirm exact hours, notice period and probation length with Confederazione Svizzera during the application process, since these details can vary by role even within the same contract category.
Do I need a cross-border work permit for a role in Bern?
EU/EFTA citizens living in an EU/EFTA state can apply for a G permit and can work anywhere in Switzerland: border zones no longer apply to them, and they must return home at least once a week. The Swiss employer files the request with Canton Bern's migration office after the contract is signed. Processing times vary by canton, so confirm the specifics with Bern's cantonal migration office or with HR during the application.
